The Grill Room Bar & Restaurant at Down Hall, Bishop's Stortford is an ideal location for informal dining throughout the day. Located at Down Hall Country House Hotel on the Hertfordshire and Essex border, the restaurant has been recently refurbished. Italian wood flooring, dark wood tables, stunning red leather seating and an abundance of natural daylight from the large windows nearby combine to give the restaurant a contemporary feel.
Head Chef, Mark Allen Jones, has created a contemporary British menu which changes seasonally. Sample dishes include breast of corn fed chicken on risotto of wild mushrooms or pumpkin and goats cheese tortalloni with asparagus, rocket and parmesan.
