Down Hall Grounds

Down Hall’s 110 acre estate has something to offer for everyone. Take a relaxing stroll around the manicured gardens or a refreshing walk with one of our walking maps offering short, medium and long routes through the forest. You may even be surprised to find an alpaca or two on your wanders. Test your skills on our Giant Chess set, indulge in a game of old-fashioned English croquet or visit our ducks in the duck pond. They love the treats which are available from Reception!

During the summer, Down Hall offers picnics which can be taken out in the grounds in a basket. Settle yourself on one of the many picnic tables around the grounds or on a blanket whilst enjoying the stunning views and gourmet food.
