Visit Down Hall Country House Hotel to experience the much-loved English tradition of Afternoon Tea at its finest! Served in the historic splendour of our lounge or private tea rooms, the choice of 3 delicious menus combined with a selection of the finest teas make for an unforgettable afternoon.
The Traditional Afternoon Tea includes a selection of freshly cut sandwiches with Roast Ham, Egg and Cress, Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese & Cucumber as well as home-baked scones served with Devon Clotted Cream and Strawberry preserve. This is followed by a wide selection of homemade cakes.
The Chocolate Indulgence Afternoon Tea includes all of the above delicacies complimented by homemade Chocolate Spread and a Chocolate Fondue with a selection of dipping Fruits.
The ‘Down Hall Royal’ is the ultimate Afternoon Tea experience and includes Lobster & Caviar Mayonnaise, Fillet of Beef & Horseradish and Marinated Cucumber & Mint sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with Devon Clotted Cream and Strawberry preserve, followed by a selection of handmade Deluxe pastries and cakes.
