Step through the gates of our historic walled garden and discover The Woodland Table — a dining concept rooted in nature, seasonality, and togetherness. Surrounded by the bounty of our two-acre kitchen garden, this unique setting invites guests to reconnect with food, with one another, and with the land that nourishes us.
Dine under open skies and rustling leaves, where rustic wooden tables and hand-crafted benches made from our own estate’s felled trees set the stage for a truly special gathering. Flickering fire pits warm the evening air as our chefs cook your secret menu over open flames, filling the garden with the scent of woodsmoke, herbs, and flame-grilled produce harvested just steps away, all set to the enchanting sounds of our live vocalist.
Each event is designed around the season, showcasing the freshest ingredients from our garden, estate, and trusted local suppliers. Expect thoughtfully curated sharing platters, vibrant vegetables, garden herbs, and estate-inspired cocktails made with our very own Down Hall Garden Gins and vodka.

Gather around as our chef shares the inspiration behind the day’s feast
3:00pm – The Woodland Table Feast
Take your seat at the table for a multi-course dining experience crafted from the day’s freshest garden and estate harvests, cooked over open fire.
5:00pm – A Final Infusion
Sip on our Kitchen Garden Infused Tea — a soothing blend of botanicals and estate herbs
5:30 / 6:00pm – Farewell Until Next Time
Wander back through the garden with full hearts, warm hands, and new memories.

Garden Gatherings at The Woodland Table is an outdoor dining experience designed for guests aged 12 and over. Seating is arranged on shared rustic tables of up to 10 guests, encouraging a communal atmosphere and the joy of connecting with others. As the menu is seasonal and bespoke, all allergen and dietary information must be submitted at the time of booking. While sample menus are available to offer a flavour of what to expect, the full menu will remain a surprise until the day of the gathering. As the event takes place entirely outdoors within our kitchen garden, we recommend dressing appropriately for the British weather and wearing suitable footwear for uneven terrain to ensure your comfort throughout the experience. Due to the intimate nature of the setting, tickets are strictly limited, and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment
